Let me state for the record that I am a Tetris Addict. I'm not a gamer, I don't do Wii or Playstation or MMORPGs or any of that. But I love Tetris. It's a simple, conceptual puzzle that keeps my mind agile and is never the same twice. When my first GameBoy was stolen from me, I had to get a GameBoy Advance. I played it into the ground, and when it finally gave up the ghost, I started looking for replacements here on Amazon.

The first one I got was the Color Screen Tetris, which was a very satisfactory game UNTIL one of the little blocks on the bottom of the screen burned out ... and then another ...

Next it was the Radica Handheld Game Tetris. What a piece of junk. I tossed it in a matter of days, and you can read my review to see why, if you like.

Now I am using the Radica Big Screen Tetris. It's far better than Radica's handheld game, but it has three main drawbacks:

1: There is no adjustable level of skill.
2: The screen light that automatically comes on when your room is dark becomes less adequate for seeing those Tetris blocks as they start dropping faster and faster.
3: The game is pretty unforgiving, and that's really the only way I can put it. If you have played Tetris on a variety of devices, you'll know what I mean.

BOTTOM LINE: Only one game, only one skill level, and pretty near impossible to get past 100 lines and/or 150,000 points.

SO: Of the three Tetris games I have purchased from Amazon, I still have to give my highest marks to Color Screen Tetris. Although it sucks batteries pretty quickly, it has a GREAT screen, adjustable skill levels on the various games, and good controls. If only those little blocks didn't start burning out!

Air Hogs R/C Jet Scream Airplane Immediately

First off, I've been flying this plane for over a year now. I bought one as my first RC plane. For this price, I figured I could afford to build my flying skills on it, and I was not disappointed. If you're looking for a serious RC plane then you may not like this one that much. It MUST be flown in little to no wind and a charge lasts for about 10 minutes of flight time. However, if you want something to just mess around with and hone your flight skills for bigger, better planes, then this one is terrific. I now own two of these since I found it works out very well to fly one til it dies then charge it up while flying the other. You have virtually no "down-time" this way. Both planes are still in good shape after a year of use. I fly over a grassy field and have not broken anything... yet. Wind is the biggest adversary to this plane. It is made of a styro-foam-like material and is very light. It almost has the feel of a controled kite, especially when it is at a high altitude. It is designed to use it's engines to control it's steering and altitude. If you want to go higher, give it more power and point it into the breeze. I've had this thing scary-high and have had to just cut power and let it fall to a lower height. It took a little while to master but like I said, it was my first RC plane. Now I can toss-launch it and not bring it down til the battery runs out. And alot of the time I bring it right back and catch it in my hand. One thing I will mention, the first plane I bought flies better than the second. The body on the 2nd was bent up more and the stabilizers are at a different angle. So each may have it's own slightly different flight characteristics to get used to. But you'll love every minute once you get dialed in on it. For the price, I highly recommend. My boyfriend is completely obsessed with all the HALO video games & Books. He mentioned this toy a few weeks before our Anniversary so I drove around the city looking for it. I couldn't find it anywhere so I turned to the internet. I was able to get the toy for cheaper here than anywhere else even with shipping included. I received the toy in about 2 1/2 weeks in the mail. The box it came in created the illusion that it was fairly large but when I opened it, it turns out that the toy itself is actually much smaller than what I had expected. It was packed extremely well and there was not a scratch on the box nor a dent in the thin plastic that allows you to view the toy through it (which is very important for somebody like my boyfriend). I wish I include a picture of him opening it because his face was priceless and he didn't give a second look at anything else I bought him. He immediately set it up. It is VERY quiet for an RC car though the radio waves seem to be a bit weak. He has to walk within a few feet of it to control it well. The figures are absolutely adorable and very well made though the spartan that handles the turret falls off with any little movement the car makes so my boyfriend super glued him. :) Overall, I would say this toy is very well made and very sturdy. It was able to survive several ramps off our stairs and handles fairly well on rough terrain. For any HALO fan, I'd say its a great gift even if it just sits on a shelf because its fun to look at and its clearly a lot more fun to play with :).
