The reviews we read spoke to quick response, sharp turns, and lots of fun. It is all that, however, be advised that there is no variable control: It is full speed forward, or back. And turning is full left, full right, or center. For my 8-year-old son, he doesn't care and LOVES playing with it. The front tips, although pointy, are made of rubber so bumping into walls damages neither the car nor the wall. So, what were the issues? The remote control antenna did not screw it. I have taped it into place, and with electrical contact, it works fine. But that was a concern on Christmas Eve! Battery life is sufficient, but not breath taking.
