This toy was given to my son as a Christmas gift. He was only 4 months old so I didnt think he would be able to use it. He hated tummy time and would always cry so I pulled it out hoping the music would distract him. He stopped crying, lifted his head, started to hit at it and it began to spin and play the alphabet song. I tried putting other toys in front of him before so I was surprised it held his attention. He is 9 months now and still loves this toy. He will spin for 15 minutes or more.
PROS:
First toy he was able to use.
It is very light. I take it all over the house.
He recognizes the alphabet song. When I sing it he always smiles in recognition.
It is durable. It has been knocked over many times and doesn't seem to be a problem.
As much as he uses it I have never changed the batteries. I don't even know if it takes batteries.
It has 3 modes of music so when I get tired of hearing one I can flip to the others.
The music does not annoy me. And it has a two mode volume control.
CONS:
I wish it had a suction or was designed better so it wouldn't tip over so much.
Has a light on either side but they are very small and don't do anything to keep him entertained.
