I purchased this for my 2 year old son, and we BOTH love it! I also purchased a few more books at the same time, but so far, his favorite is the 'Cars' shapes book. Jr. is so easy for toddlers to use, and the large body makes it simple for children to grip and place exactly where they want him. The voice is crisp, clear, and child-like...not a boring robotic sound.
One of the only downsides is the USB slot is in the battery compartment, so you have to take the cover off if you want to add or remove books. Not a huge deal since you shouldn't need to do this too often, but a slight pain. Overall though, I absolutely recommend this. I just love LeapFrog products as they're so easy to use, and great tools for learning.
