My 4 year old got it for his birthday. The design is great and the games seem pretty good, even though many of them are still difficult for him to figure out (probably due to English not being his first language). My biggest gripe is with the LCD. It's black and white, which really stands out (in a bad way) from the colorful plastic around. We're not in the 1980s any more.
