This toy is well mad, not shabby, takes a ton of abuse from our enthusiastic grandson. We have a hard time keeping him away from our computers (babysplat is a godsend) and this toy keeps him happy in the car or crib. It will not get him out of a cranky mood if he's in one, but that's just the nature of a noise-making toy.
