between my daughter and my niece, they've been through 3 of these. 2 of them had lines going down the screen before they were a year old, and all of them totally stopped working and don't even turn on. I contacted Leapfrog and they said if it's a year old and/or I have no proof of purchase, they can't do anything about it but told me I could purchase a new one on their website.
